Transportation Planning including Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities, Conceptual Street Design, and Safe Routes to School.

Bicycle and Pedestrian Planning:  Planning of linked bicycle and pedestrian facilities.  Designing comfortable, pleasant, and safe bicycle and pedestrian facilities. 

Conceptual Street Design, including Traffic Calming:  Coordinating the design of the roadways with qualified engineers for more effective and pleasant use by pedestrians, bicyclists and motorists. 

Safe Routes to School Plans and Programs:  Coordinating and completing Safe Routes to School Plans and applying for Safe Routes to School Federal Funds.  In addition, establishing Safe Routes to School Programs such as safety and encouragement programs in schools.
